Financial policy:

In private practice, less time spent on administrative and billing issues, allows more time to be dedicated to the care of the patient. Therefore, I do not accept insurance or other third party payers. However, patients are provided at each visit, fully itemized and coded receipts that can be submitted for reimbursement to insurance providers for out of network benefits.

Cancellation policy:

24 hour cancellation is required in order to avoid being charged the regular session fee. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full fee. True emergencies are taken into consideration.

Confidentiality and Privacy policy:

This practice respects the rights and privacy of patients’ confidential medical information in accordance with federal law Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Your Protected Health Information (PHI) may be disclosed, with your consent, for purposes of treatment, payment, and healthcare operation purposes.

The exceptions to protection of your PHI occurs during situations of suspected child, adult, or elder abuse, if a patient poses a serious danger to themselves or others, and a situation in which a physician is obligated to warn a person that is likely to become a potential victim at the hands of a patient.
